Milling is one of the machining processes that uses rotary mills to remove material so that a finished workpiece can be reached. The cutting of a cutter into the workpiece can be done in the different direction on one or more axes.

 

Milling is the most commonly used process for processing single parts or custom parts or molds that require precise tolerance.

The realization of this process is executed with the help of a CNC, usually a high precision CNC.
